OUR SHIFT is a responsible, community-driven, activist fashion brand based in Copenhagen. With a mission to shift the fashion landscape, they offer ethical clothing reflecting sustainable principles and challenging overconsumption. They use upcycling techniques to transform unconventional materials into unique and bold styles, preventing clothes from going to landfills or being burnt. They give new purpose to abandoned festival tents or fashion industry’s deadstock, which serve as the base for their creations. They have started a movement of shifting the fashion world into a better one.
MAKE LESS, THANKS

'MAKE LESS, THANKS' is our fully upcycled fashion collection made from abandoned tents and deadstock fabrics. Every year, festival-goers leave their tents at Roskilde Festival to be discarded. In 2022, OUR SHIFT acted on this, and picked up the abandoned tents. The materials were washed and repurposed, creating the base for OUR SHIFT’s creations. The newest upcycled collection ‘MAKE LESS, THANKS’ will make you reminisce about your favourite festival. The diverse colour palette chosen for the garments refers to the dynamic and creative environment of the festival, incorporating playful elements such as tent zippers and windows, supporting the garments’ story. By reusing materials that would otherwise go to waste, the collection 'MAKE LESS, THANKS' symbolises responsible fashion design and seeks to create awareness about overproduction in the fashion industry.
